Very Early in the Morning Edition

I think my Morning Edition interview with Steve Inskeep, fellow parent of a 3 year old girl, aired at about 6am this morning. For those of you who missed, it you can listen by clicking here. Doing NPR is always a lovely experience. For this particular show, I was in NPR’s relatively new NYC studios. The producer afterwards commented on how parents nowadays are keeping their kids strapped into strollers well after they can walk. “Why aren’t they letting kids explore the world on their own anymore?” I agree, she has a point. Though sometimes, too often, we’re in such a hurry to get somewhere…
